 3.   Capacity Development – Safe Operation of Installation (Safety of Production Facilities) Training

This program was designed to develop capacity and skill base of selected engineers on key knowledge areas on the safe operation of installation for production facilities in line with international best practices and policies with a view to minimizing risk and hazards on critical assets.

 4.      Expert Manpower Services for Egina FPSO Project

The Egina FPSO project is a $ 15 billion project which commenced in 2013. Lonadek worked with NETCO to provide skilled resources for the design phase of the project, by supplying personnel for the Piping and Structural Design aspects of the project.

 5.      Marginal Fields Workshop

(EI-UK, Baba Energy, Lonadek, 2014)

Lonadek collaborated with EI-UK Limited and Baba Energy to organise the 1st Marginal Fields Workshop, titled “Changing the Game to Deliver a Producing Asset- the Game Changer”. The workshop was a platform for information sharing and knowledge transfer for the benefit of intending bidders for the proposed 2013/2014 Marginal Fields Bid Round.

 6.      Capacity Development – Subsea Awareness Training

This program was designed to develop knowledge and awareness of in-country engineers on fundamentals of subsea engineering systems, in line with NC act towards building capacity in this high value knowledge area.

In conjunction with PetroSkills (previously known as John M. Campbell), Lonadek provided competency & professional development programmes on Process, Reliability, Integrity, & Mechanical Systems (PRIMS) to the team members of Chevron’s Facilities Engineering Unit.

      Organisation, co-ordination and execution of a Vendor Empowerment seminar for the enlightenment of executives of various service companies operating in the oil and gas industry, with a view to improving service quality and customer satisfaction, in line with internationally accepted standards.

A 5-week intensive training for new hires engaged to work in one of the major regulators in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry. The induction exposed the new hires to the Oil Value Chain, the laws regulating the industry and work place ethics.

  • CWC Group: CWC Dynamic Insights Report - Nigeria Oil & Gas Technology (NOGTech) Conference. The project scope included a review of the NOGTech Conference, expert analysis of the papers presented with the implications for the Nigeria Oil and Gas industry (2011).
  • Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF): Capacity, Capability and Competency Skills Gap Survey.
    The project scope included on-site audits of 41 companies operating in the Midstream and Downstream sectors of the Oil and Gas Industry (2010 - 2011). 
  • SHELL / EER: Capacity and Capability Survey of Nigerian Companies.
    The project scope included on-site audits of 60 Nigerian companies providing services to the Oil and Gas Industry.  (2010 - 2011).
  • SHELL/ EER:  Review of the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. Identification of Issues, the Impact on Business and Compliance Measures.
    The project scope included a review of the NOGICD Act, and the development of compliance strategies for the client. (2010 - 2011).
  • Addax Petroleum: Local Content Consultancy.
    Services provided include the provision of fact-based researched data that serve an input to company's Local Content strategy, brainstorming with Addax Nigerian Content Department, interfacing with the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board, implementing Vendor Development & Empowerment initiatives  (2007 to date).
  • Chevron Nigeria Limited: Engineering Design Capability and Capacity Survey of 25 Engineering Design Companies in Nigeria.
    The scope of the project included the identification of in-country engineering design resources and the creation of a database of available capacity and capability for the execution of modules and packages of work on major capital projects (2004 - 2005).
