Course Outline

  • Unit IA: International management of health and safety.
  • Unit IB: International control of hazardous agents in the workplace.
  • Unit IC: International workplace and work equipment safety.
  • Unit DNI: International application of health and safety theory and practice.

At the end of this course, learners will understand:

  • Management of health and safety at work
  • The identification and control of risk associated with hazardous agents, workplace issues, and equipment
  • Management of stress at work
  • The importance of human factors in reducing incidents

Examinations are normally held each year in the third full week of January and July.

Duration: For this qualification, a participant should plan for approximately 225 hours of private study.
