Course overview

Build capability you can apply

This practical engineering course introduces the use of Bentley SACS for modelling, analysing and designing fixed offshore structures. Participants work through the structural-analysis workflow, including model development, loading, static and dynamic analysis, structural code checks and interpretation of results. The course is particularly relevant to oil and gas and offshore engineering environments where structural safety, fatigue, environmental loading and code compliance are critical.

Learning outcomes

What you’ll be able to do

  • Create and manage offshore structural models in SACS.
  • Apply relevant structural and environmental loading conditions.
  • Perform and interpret static and dynamic analyses.
  • Carry out structural member and connection checks.
  • Interpret analysis results and identify design concerns.
  • Apply SACS workflows to practical offshore engineering problems.
Frequently asked questions
