On a bright day filled with prospects for Nigeria’s energy sector, the International Energy Services LTD (IESL), the Centre for Petroleum Energy Economics and Law, and the University of Ibadan (UI) came together to host the much-anticipated Diran Fawibe Annual Lecture. The theme, “Shaping the Future, Building Legends,” set the tone for a gathering of professionals, academics, and thought leaders in the nation’s energy landscape. With challenges besetting the oil and gas industry, the event aimed to provide sustainable solutions through collaboration with academic institutions nationwide.
The event discussion was very interactive and featured top industry professionals who shared their insights and expertise. Among the speakers, Diram Fawibe, Aderonke Bayeroju (Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, University of Ibadan), Engr. Ajibola former President NSE – Nigerian Society of Engineers, Bala Wunti, Chief Upstream Investment Officer (CUIO), NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services (NUIMS), Dr. Bayo Adaralegbe, Bayo Ige (MD IESL Engr & Energy Expert), Effiong Okon (SEPLAT), among prominent voices in the discussions.
