Lessons from the Nigeria International Energy Summit #NIES2023 in Abuja

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>In case you missed the Nigeria International Energy Summit #NIES2023, Lonadek, a thought leader in engineering technology, had the honour of participating in this inspiring event held in Abuja.

The summit was a remarkable platform to exchange knowledge and showcase the latest engineering innovations and solutions that can improve asset performance. Notable attendees included the President of Nigeria, H.E. Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, the Vice President of Nigeria, H.E. Professor Yemi Osinbajo GCON, Heads of International Petroleum and Energy Agencies, and top government officials. Various energy industry leaders were also present, including the MD SNEPCO, Mrs ELOHOR AIBONI, the MD NLNG Ltd, Dr Philip Mshelbila, and other top executives of IOCs, independent operators, and engineering service companies.

The discussions of the summit centred around the optimal development and utilization of Nigeria’s gas reserves, in line with the decade of gas plants and the recently passed Petroleum Industry Act, to achieve energy security, affordability, and sustainability, there was a focus on the need for innovative solutions to overcome the challenges of construction project costs, funding, and completion time.

We used the summit as an opportunity to engage with MDs, CEOs, and top executives of operating companies, to introduce our cutting-edge engineering tech solutions, which help teams collaborate seamlessly and deliver projects on time and on budget. Our solution connects workflows, teams, and project data throughout the entire construction project lifecycle, from design to plan, build, and operations, thus reducing risk, maximizing profits, and increasing efficiencies.

Our team at Lonadek is thrilled to have been a part of such a dynamic and thought-provoking event. We’re excited about the future and are committed to playing our part in driving change in the engineering technology industry. We look forward to continuing the conversation and making strides toward a brighter future in the energy sector.

Join us in our quest to create a more sustainable, innovative, and prosperous future in the energy sector. Let’s work together to overcome the challenges that lie ahead and make the most of the opportunities available to us.</p>
